I often get pain associated with spinal stenosis of my lumbar spine and am reluctant to increase the number of pain pills that I take. So I use this product to rub into the skin over the affected joint. It is almost magical - how well it works. There are no psychoactive effects - I don't have to worry about driving if I've used the product - so it meets my needs. Note: It doesn't take away ALL the pain, nor does it work significantly in ALL situations. But it's significantly better than any other topical I've used to relieve MORE pain in MORE situations.
